China Gate, use to be the only Chinese buffet in McKinney. They closed down shortly after several competitors opened, but I am pleased to announce their return. As soon as we know the official date and more details we will of course up date you.

It will be opening in the shopping strip in front of the McKinney Tavern and Pizza Hut on Eldorado. I will be honest, usually I am pretty good at tracking down company information, but I cant even find the website. Planet Smoothie sign has appeared at the new 380 shopping center. We have emailed the company in hopes of getting in touch with the Franchisee. So we hope to have you more info soon. Chipotle and Jimmy Johns are also located in the shopping center.

India themed restaurant to be located in the new shopping center with Kinko's and Cotton Patch.

Thanks to Steve for sending us this: I received the following: "Samson’s Restaurant is now closed for remodeling and expansion. Seating will be increased to approximately 200% of current seating. The current main entrance will be closed and a new main entrance designed at the SW corner. Inside, where diners currently enter the building, a stage will be constructed. A second story balcony will wrap the sides and back. Of course, the outside dining will be retained. The menu will change to be a mix of sandwiches, salads, burgers, chicken, steak, pastas, etc. This will be quality dining at affordable prices. Three times or so a week, there will be music, comedy, etc. on stage. Several times a year, big names in entertainment will be on stage. Samson’s will reopen in approximately 60 days under the ownership of George Fuller."

So I finally have official confirmation that Twin Peaks is coming and will be in the old Ruby Tuesday locations at Eldorado and 75. It has been really obvious that they were coming by the log style decor and the trade mark Palm trees in the parking lot, but I wanted to make sure it was official. So for you guys who like the UFC fights, this will be another location for you.
