Café Malaga has moved to a new location in downtown McKinney off the historic square, formerly Poppy’s. In addition to their popular melt-in-your-mouth tapas that satisfy any craving, Café Malaga has enhanced their menu providing fresh, healthy salads, mouthwatering sandwiches, and daily homemade soups. The menu isn’t the only addition to this move. Café Malaga has raised the bar for Mediterranean Cafés in the Dallas-Fort Worth area by redesigning an awesome new garden patio for live entertainment and special events supporting the local downtown historic square. Further, Café Malaga is working towards going green. Their goals include reclaimed rain water for watering the fresh-grown herbs & vegetables, recycling and supporting other local merchants. Hours of operation have expanded to include lunch, Tuesday – Sunday starting at 11:00 am and dinner every night at 5:00 pm. The new menu will also include an enhanced wine list and kid friendly selections. With their new expanded location they can now accommodate private parties indoors and out while maintaining a cozy atmosphere for a romantic dinner. |

Fuddruckers is a Shake and Burger establishment, while I have never eaten there, others I have talked with, our very excited. They will be located in the new shopping center that has Lowe’s and Target, in the strip that faces 75. They will have a patio and it is franchised owned location. |

The Londoner in Downtown McKinney as been a British Pub since it opened. It now has new owners who have changed the name to Churchills. It will maintain the same British style and concept. They will (for now) keep the same menu that McKinney has become accustom to with a few changes; they have added breakfast to their line up. Downtown has needed more places for breakfast so I welcome the addition. Has been a great place to go and eat and looks to have positive changes coming, so go check them out when you get the chance. |
