Poppy's, which was located in the Downtown district, closed it's doors the other day. It didn't rate very high as they only held 2.5 stars by our users. The restaurant did have a very unique and beautiful setting that was loved by all who visited it, which will not go to waste. In no time a proven McKinney Restaurant with tons of loyal patrons will be expanding into it's elegant location. Don't worry we will be talking about that more very soon. If you enjoyed the Peter Piper Pizza located in the new shopping center at 380 and 75, you will have to settle for their other location. With the closing of the centers anchor store, Circuit City, it's not surprising they are consolidating down their two locations down to one. All of the management and staff where moved to the other location as well, so there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. The other Peter Piper Pizza is located on 121 and Custer. It was located off of Eldorado, across from Steak and Shake and LA Fitness. Dont know the reason, but if you really want somewhere else to go, try here. |

Just verified that the only two Cajun restaurants in McKinney have closed their doors, basically killing an entire Category of places to eat. So if you enjoyed either the Rockhard Cajun Café or Dodies then you unfortunately will no longer be able |

Well another store goes down and I have no clue why. I personally have never been there, but my wife has been several times she it was a cute place and she will miss it. If we find out why we let you guys know. |
