Chateau Potatoes

Can be made with or without the "game birds"!

 

Preparation:

Take 1 lb. small new potatoes, or halve larger ones. Peel, wash, and dry.


Brush with melted shortening or oil to coat evenly.


Add to roasting pan with game birds.


Bake with birds turning occasionally, until brown and crusty for about an hour or the same time as the birds.


Oven temp. of 350 is fine.


Salt. Serve with chopped parsley.
