Brownies

Delicious!

 

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 lb. butter.

  • 1 C. sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/2 C. flour

  • 2 C. flour, sifted

  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla

  • 1 C. coarsely ground nuts

Preparation:

  • Soften butter.

  • Add sugar and 2 eggs, 1 at a time, whole.

  • Sift and add flour and salt.

  • Add 2 squares melted chocolate

  • vanilla, and nuts.

  • Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes.


Frosting

  • 1/3 C. milk

  • 1/8 lb.butter

  • dash salt

  • 1 heaping T. cocoa

  • 1 C. sugar

Bring ingredients slowly to a boil. Boil hard for 1 - 1 1/2 minutes.

Add 1 tsp. vanilla. Beat to spreading consistency (5-7 min.).

Spread on brownies quickly.
