Mother's Raisin Cream Frosting

Ingredients:

  • 2 C. sugar

  • 3/4 C. sweet or sour cream

  • 1/2 - 1 C. cut raisins

  • dash of salt

Preparation:

  • Boil and stir until sugar melts.

  • Proceed as for soft ball stage.

  • Cool, stir, and spread on cake.
