Mother's Lemon Sponge
2 heaping T. flour
1 C. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
Mix ingredients above with small amount cold water, add 2 large cups boiling water and cook in double-boiler for 10-15, until thickened.
Remove from heat and add the juice of one large lemon and the whites of two eggs, stiffly beaten.
Put in molds and chill.
Serve cold with warm chocolate sauce.
