Pumpkin-Pecan Pie

Pumpkin and Pecan and Pie... Oh My!

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 slightly beaten eggs

  • 1/2 C. white sugar

  • 2 C. half&half

  • 1/2 tsp. salt

  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg

  • 1 - 10" pie crust

  • 1/2 C. brown sugar

  • 2 C. pumpkin

  • 1 T. flour

  • 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

  • 3 T. chopped pecans


Preparation:

  • Pre-heat oven to 450.

  • Beat eggs and sugars

  • Add pumpkin and 1/2 & 1/2.

  • Add flour mixed with salt and spices.

  • Beat well.

  • Pour into pie shell; sprinkle with nuts.

  • Bake in 450 oven for 10 min., then at 325 for 40 min.

  • Top may be decorated with pastry cutouts.
